End of October workout review

I know I am behind, but this blog is for my records as well as your entertainment!!

Monday, Oct 24th - Marathon training taper - 4miles of:
1 mile easy - 9:19
2 miles at 8:15 - 8:12, 8:02
1 mile easy - 8:40
It felt nice and easy!

Tuesday, Oct 25th - Just walked Molly 1.88miles and did some stretching.

Wednesday, Oct 26th - More taper.... 50min with negative split.
6.01 miles in 50:14

Mile 1 - 8:34
Mile 2 - 8:33
Mile 3 - actually it was 0.93miles because I was at 25min - pace was 8:28.
Mile 4 - 8:12 (actual distance 3.93miles)
Mile 5 - 8:12 (4.93 miles)
Mile 6 - 8:11 - (5.93 miles)
so the last 0.07 miles was at 8:13 pace, which brought my distance and time to 6.01 miles in 50:14.

I did this run after work when the temp was in the low 80s. It was a little hard!

Thursday, Oct 27th - off/rest day with some stretching while watching TV!

Friday, Oct 28th - A run wasn't scheduled, but since my last run was on Wednesday and the race was on Sunday, I wanted to add in an easy run. It was 3miles around the block and I wasn't paying attention to my pace except at the mile markers. Just wanted to get the blood flowing!
Mile 1 - 9:39
Mile 2 - 9:20
Mile 3 - 9:04

3.0 miles in 28:07. Perfect!

Saturday, Oct 29th - Rest day! I tried to stay off my feet as much as possible but walked around in circles at the Expo. Not fun!

Sunday, Oct 30th - Marathon Day!! It deserves it's own post....
